Life Update (and other bullshit)

It's been a while, I haven't really updated this in months and the reason is that I've been jumping from setup to setup and focusing on other stuff, my grades were failing too, so I had to focus on that.

On the contrary, my life has tahken a really good turn, I met new people and I started going out way more, I might sound like a broken record, but that's just how my life is, half the time is pure peak and the other half it's utter dogshit.

Moving on, my tech has changed quite a bit in these two months, for starters, due to a mistake on my end, my oneplus 8t is currenly in a coma and I honestly don't know if or when i'm actually going to fix it,

Also, I got a new mac, or well, an OLDER mac, i swapped my 2012 mbp with a 2010, simply because I needed rosetta and Snow leopard, so I asked my friend if I could swap it with his.

I really Like this mac, Sure I kinda miss having 16 gb of ram and a shiny 3rd gen intel i5, but this setup is good enough for basic things like wrting this very page for example.


As for my views and the future of this website, well, I've become less of a "fossbro" and I'm more firm on my OWN beliefs, my threat model also changed, after peaking with everything offline, I decided to finally surrender to ProtonPass and Ente AUTH for the sake of comodity (also cuz I can't find a decent keepass client for 10.6, having to work with older machines has indeed forced me to use (ironically) mostly cloud stuff to overcome the software limitations of using an OS from 10+ years ago), I'm less for "down with big tech because yes" and more on just deciding with a critical eye what to trust and what to avoid (google).

I might show more of myself on this website and whatnot, like my socials or my projects and everything in between, maybe I've noticed that neocities add the option to use your site as a handle for bluesky, maybe I'll (re)create a bsky account using this very website as a custom handle, frankly, the only thing that was really holding me back was having to sync my keepass DB, now that I don't need to do that anymore, there's nothing really preventing me from doing so, maybe i'll also crosspost stuff from my mastodon acc, we'll see.
