Creating my own decentralized net

This idea has been floating in my mind for quite sometime, ever since I got my own studio room from my parents that i could use however I wanted, since i own a bunch of computers, three laptops (technically four) and three desktops, I started wondering if I could create my own digital ecosystem with various services such as a local archival of youtube content, movies, music, various websites and even a chat system so that every machine could talk to one another on this giant but also very small net of devices. Frankly, even if I wanted to do this, it's not like I have the space to do so, my studio is pretty small and there's really no need for a centralized network if all I have is a simple room where people can just talk to one another, maybe it's just my fascination for small ecosystems that makes me think of stuff like this. One way of making this actually usable is to create some kind of way to connect devices outside of that room, maybe with something like NordVPN's meshnet (or by creating a tunnel with wireguard, but my current ISP doesn't let me open router ports so that's impossible for now) like let's say I have my little ecosystem that I can control from outside, that would be very cool in my opinion.

Or maybe I could just make it some sort of archive, like, yes, people CAN communicate with eachother, but we also have like accounts where we document the stuff we do in the room so that it's saved forever.
